Academic joins Indiana University Business School as Visiting Faculty

Dr Tahir Islam, Senior Lecturer in Marketing at Leeds Trinity University has joined Kelley Business School, Indiana University, as Visiting Faculty, contributing high-quality teaching, research support and expertise on a global scale.

The new appointment sees Dr Islam taking part in key activity at Indiana University across a period of six weeks, throughout February and March 2025. This includes conducting lectures and seminars, developing course materials and collaborating with faculty members on academic initiatives and research opportunities. 

Joining Kelley Business School, which is a top-ranking business school in the United States, recognised for innovation and excellence in education, is a key opportunity for Dr Islam to enhance the reputation of Leeds Trinity University’s Business School and forge collaboration on a global scale. 

Dr Tahir Islam said: “I am honoured to join Kelley Business School as Visiting Faculty. This is an invaluable opportunity to engage with world-class faculty and students. As Visiting Faculty at Kelley Business School, Dr Tahir Islam will also investigate student engagement and gain insights into peer review evaluation of teaching, which will support his role as Programme Leader for MA International Business, MSc Digital Marketing, and MBA Distance Learning (China) at Leeds Trinity. This will ensure each programme reflects high-quality standards of teaching, engagement and the professional development needed in business globally.
